So here I am taking another stab at keeping a blog alive. I am going to try my best to document my life's happenings because I figure it will be nice to have a record somewhere for me to look back at what my life was like as a late 20 something moving into the 30s.

I figure it's a good time to start a new blog because I consider this time in my life to be pretty significant. The last year and a half was pretty amazing for me, full of many firsts:

• I was called to the Bar.
• I was hired on as an Associate at a reputable criminal defence firm.
• I married the love of my life.
• I became a proud homeowner with a backyard and a fence!
  

These were all very important milestones in my life - the kind I will look back on in twenty years that will have meaning and great significance.

I am one lucky girl.

And so, this brand new blog is going to be something for myself more than for anyone else. Of course, if someone out there is interested in reading what's going on then by all means, enjoy!

I am going to try to update at least once a week. I'm not sure it's always going to be possible - work does get crazy - but I feel that I need to make the effort.
